We have been exceptionally happy with the services and products from Whitefoot3D. Communication during the design process was excellent and Jack offered extensive advice and suggestions on what would create the best result based on his technical knowledge of the design and manufacturing process. I would recommend Whitefoot3D fully for any work in the wargaming industry.
The Vale Renegades Gaming Club have been using custom designed trophies from Whitefoot3D for several events over the last 12 months. We first saw Jack’s work at an event he himself was running in Worcester and decided to experiment with offering custom and completely unique trophies to prize winners at our events. The design in question is a rendition of our logo (a hooded gas mask) mounted on a plinth bearing the name, date, and nature of prize for that trophy.
The trophy designs are precisely what we were after and Whitefoot3D were able to cater to any needs and desired changes to the design quickly and easily. The products themselves are of a very high quality, and accurately reflect the designs we were shown. Whilst the material is quite light and appears to be fragile it is a lot more durable than it initially appears (having dropped a box I can attest to this). We’ve not had any issues with defects in the manufacturing and all our gas mask trophies have arrived in good condition and with an acceptable lead time on production. The products are not painted, which for us is ideal as if gives us the chance to put our own finishing touches onto the trophies. Personally, we have found they work well with a light and patchy spray paint covering with a light drybrush on top to give a rustic and weathered look.
As one of the longest-term customers of Whitefoot3D we have also been happy with the pricing strategy we have negotiated with Jack – we are a not for profit organisation so, whilst we are always happy to pay for high quality produce for our events, we also look out for suppliers who can help us keep our costs to a sensible level.
Having seen Jack’s 3D printed artillery models in person I think players looking for something a little different for their armies could also come up with some interesting designs with Whitefoot3D. Finally, any business looking for something unique either to sell, give away, or display in smaller batch quantities should consider getting in touch with Whitefoot3D to see what is feasible with their designs.
